1st International Research Conference on Healthy Delights –2022
ICHD 2022 is one of the satellite conferences of JUICe 2022. It was organized by Faculty of Allied health Sciences, University of Jaffna. The aim of the conference is to provide an open forum for local and international researchers from diverse disciplines to disseminate their research findings, and share ideas and experiences. The organizing committee is pleased to invite researchers all around the globe. The ICHD 2022 will be a hybrid conference, the participants can join either directly or Virtually.
Guidelines For The Abstract And Extended Abstract Submission
- Authors must submit the Abstract and Author Declaration Form together with their extended Abstract.
- Abstract and Extended Abstract should be submitted as two separate files.
- The extended abstracts are solely for refereeing purposes and only the accepted abstracts will be published in the proceedings of the International Research Conference on Healthy Delights-2022 (ICHD-2022).
- Abstracts and Extended Abstracts should be submitted via Microsoft Conference Management System CMT.
- All queries related to submission must be directed to Chief Editor.
- All correspondence regarding submitted papers will be addressed only to the corresponding author indicated during submission.
- Abstracts will be published in proceedings, if presented in the conference only.
- Certain number of extended abstracts will be selected and published in the first issue of Faculty Journal.
Guidelines For Preparing The Abstract
Title
- Maximum characters 100 with spaces, Font: Times New Roman, 14 pt, bold, sentence case, center.
- The title of the abstract should be concise and specific. It should reflect the contents of the research.
- If scientific names are included, they should be written in italics (lower case), and common or vernacular names should be included within parenthesis.
Abstract
- Maximum number of words in the text 300, Times New Roman, 12 pt, line spacing 1.5, justified
- It should cover all aspects of the work carried out, i.e., introduction and objective(s), methods, results and discussion and conclusion.
- Tables, diagrams, and photographs should not be included.
- Author names should not be indicated in the abstract.
- Citations should not be included.
- Key words: a maximum 5 keywords, Font: Times New Romans, 11, Italic.
- Follow the given format in the template for the abstract.

Abstracts with the text exceeding the maximum limit will not be accepted.
Guidelines For Preparing The Extended Abstract
- Maximum number of text pages in the Extended Abstract should be four (04) pages with single column.
- Tables and diagrams should be included only if essential.
- Author names should not be indicated in the extended abstract.
- Title: Maximum characters 100 with spaces, Font: Times New Roman, 14, bold, sentence case, center.
Abstract
- Introduction & Objectives: Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, line spacing 1.5, justified.
- Materials & Methods: Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, line spacing1.5, justified.
- Results and Discussion: Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, line spacing1.5, justified.
- Conclusions: Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, line spacing1.5, justified.
- References should be given in ‘Harvard format’, Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, line spacing 1.5.
Guidelines For The Abstract-Camera Ready Submission
- Authors must submit the abstract aligned with the abstract guidelines.

- Authors should be listed using the entire surname followed by initial(s).
- Corresponding author’s name should indicate with an asterisk (*) at the end of the name.
- Author affiliations – Font: Times New Roman, 11 pt, Italic and provide the email address on a separate line.
Abstract
- Maximum number of words in the text 300, Times New Roman, 12 pt, line spacing 1.5
- It should cover all aspects of the work carried out, i.e., introduction and objective(s), methods, results and discussion and conclusion.
